Zhouzi town is a historical, cultural, and artistic landscape settlement with very high scientific and educational value. It is not only the heritage of Sichuan and China, but also is the precious wealth of all mankind. This simple but vivid ancient town has rich cultural connotation, which condense the essence of traditional Chinese architecture, which fully reflects the natural scenery and cultural landscape history in the hilly region of north part of Sichuan, which really reappears the agricultural civilization of rural economy and the real unique local social life characteristics. So Zhouzi town has irreplaceable universal value in human culture history.Based on the basic concept and principle of ancient town protection, through the collection of relevant reference about field investigation and research, This paper would take Zhouzi town as research object to explore the history of the ancient town, to investigate the natural environment and the cultural and historical characteristics.
