Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Chinese Traditional Medicine Health Management In Community Health System In Chongqing Municipality

Health is the theme of the21stcentury. The post-medical era’scoming marks the change from the biomedical model to thesocial-psychological medical model, and also the arrival of the newpublic health era.People realize the maintenance of health and disease preventionrequires more than individual efforts, but also the participation andcollaboration of the whole society; on the other hand, the accelerated ofaging and disease changes epically the increase of chronic diseases,lifestyle disease show the urgent needs for health management.As the basic unit, community plays a important role in people’sphysical, psychological, and social integrity. The development ofcommunity health service can improve health service accessibility andfairness, which also is the important part of maintaining social stability,promoting social equity and building a harmonious society, and thecore part to achieve the health care reform goal that everyone can havethe right of primary health care.The concept of “treatment before disease” and the healthpreservation in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) coincides with that of health management. Combining the TCM and healthmanagement in community health agencies is not only a way todevelop the health management and maintain people’s health, but alsolaid the foundation to carry forward china’s traditional medicine.This study is the sub-project of the Chongqing municipal healthbureau issues “the development strategy and policy research ofChongqing traditional Chinese medicine industry from2010to2015”.In this study, the current situation and mode of health management inour country and abroad, the “treatment before disease” and healthprevention concept in TCM are the theory basic. The researchmethods include literature research, depth interviews, expert meetings,field survey and other research methods. It sets the community ofChongqing city as main research center, explore the feasibility andnecessity of promoting the TCM health management, deeplyinvestigate the implementation of the TCM health management incommunity, and then analysis the problem in it and the reason.Finally, it made some recommendation on the effective promotingstrategy of TCM health management in community of Chongqing.
