[Objective]To further reasearch on the volume of zinc and cadmium in the occupational groups of thelead-zinc mining area and their health condition. To evaluate the impacts of the environment inlead-zinc mining area on occupational groups. To explore the effects of oxidative stressmechanisms.[Methods]Lead-zinc mining area and non-lead-zinc mining area were speciifed on the basis of studiesof NuJang LanPing mining areas. In the lead-zinc mining area, workers having more than3yearsworking experience were chosen as the contact group. In the non-lead-zinc mining area, residentswith similar life style and social economic condition, who live far away from the mining area andare immune from any industrial polluiton, were chosen as the control group..Master ofoccupational health status of populations of the lead-zinc mining area by routine physicalexamination and questionnaire study.Analysis of the changes in the exposed group and thecontrol group in vivo zinc, cadmium burthen and its serum T-SOD,MDA,GSH-Px indicators bycollected hair and blood of the study.Evaluation of the occupational health of environmental zincand cadmium mixed contact of lead-zinc mining area, and explore the effects of oxidative stressmechanism.[Results]1.Between the contact group and the control group, hair zinc and blood zinc content of thedifference was statistically signiifcant(尸<0.05).The hair zinc of contact group was higherthan the hair zinc of control group. The blood zinc of contact group was lower than the bloodzinc of control group.2.The hair cadmium and the blood cadmium of the contact group increase with the growth ofthe working age, and the difference was statistically signiifcant(尸<0.05).3.The incidences of low back pain joint pain, headache, dizziness, memory loss, body aches, toothache, bleeding teeth, fatigue, weakness, abdominal pain of the contact group ishigher than the control group, and the difference was statistically signiifcant(尸<0.05).4. Between the contact group and the control group, serum T-SOD activity and serum GSH-Pxactivity of the difference was statistically signiifcant(尸<0.05).The serum T-SOD activityand serum GSH-Px activity of contact group was lower than serum T-SOD activity andserum GSH-Px activity of control group.[Conclusions]1.Being exposed to zinc and cadmium pollution the volume of zinc and cadmium wereaffected. The hair zinc, hair cadmium and blood cadmium of contact group was higher thanthe control group. The blood cadmium of contact group was lower than the control group.2.The serum T-SOD activity and serum GSH-Px activity of contact group was lower thanserum T-SOD activity and serum GSH-Px activity of control group.3.The volume of cadmium in people from lead-zinc mining area increases with the growth ofthe working age.4.In the case of zinc, cadmium mixed contact, the health condition of the occupational groupshealth suffers.
