Due to the complexity of the word “de” in Chinese attribute and somesimilarities between “の” in Japanese and “de” in Chinese, it is quitedifficult for Japanese students to learn the Chinese attribute. This papertakes2080compositions which are written by the Japanese students in theHSK test (advanced language level) as the research data. Based on theauthoritative grammar rules at present, this paper studies the usage ofthe word “de” in the Japanese students’ compositions. At the same time,it also analysis both the error type and rate of the word “de” whenJapanese students use it. Then, the reasons leading to the errors arelisted in this paper on the basis of the comparisons between Japanese andChinese language.Moreover, combining the previous analysis results and the content onthe rules of the word “de” in the teaching materials for foreigner students, the paper tries to provide some thoughts and suggestions so asto avoid the production of the errors. It also provides some referencesfor language teaching materials and teaching methods, hoping that can makea contribution to the improvement of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage.This paper is divided into five parts: introduction, researchcriterion and foundation, the comparisons between “の” in Japanese and“de” in Chinese, investigation results and analysis, conclusion.
