Chinese vocabulary morpheme teaching method is an indispensable teaching mode forVietnamese students. Morpheme teaching does not only conform to the characteristics ofthe chinese language itself, It is also the answer to solve two problems “what to Teach?”and “How to teach?”. But also meet the multifaceted needs of second language learners. Infact morpheme teaching for vietnamese has not received an in-depth study. Relatively fewpapers took vietnamese students or vietnamese students using textbooks as a study object.My thesis was built on studies from Vietnam, and in addition vietnamese students who usedtextbooks to canvass and statistics. At the same time students’ learning situation wasincluded in the survey with experimental analysis.The paper has the following conclusions: First, knowing chinese morpheme of wordformation renders morphemes easy to grasp the word meaning which can help in thecognitive meaning, this is an important studying tactic; Second, the students usingtextbooks and students’ studying situation were included in survey, statistic, experiment, etc.I found that by using morpheme teaching method, the number of students mastered thevocabulary was higher than those taught using whole word teaching system. Morphemeteaching went in line with two textbooks used in Vietnam of vocabulary design.From the research findings, grasping chinese characteristics can be fast and effectivelearning method of chinese vocabulary. Research about chinese morpheme teaching inVietnam has indeed certain value and significance.
