Compared to normal vocabulary, idioms are more concise, and include more meaning,the cultural connotation of a more classic, and varied system, and rich. Whether in spokenor written language, idioms are often used by Chinese people. Learning Chinese idioms,not only can contributes to our understanding of Chinese culture, and daily exchanges withChinese. For Korean learning Chinese, this way would be a great help (for theirunderstanding of Chinese culture)However, the teaching of Chinese idioms in Korea is not ideal. Teaching methods arestill based on the traditional teacher-based teaching, students simply recite it. This methodof teaching Chinese idioms will be communication problems in Chinese. Up until now, theChinese idiom has been considered to be very profound, which makes a lot of the early,intermediate Chinese learners of idioms feel strange and scared. In fact, if we cansystematically step by step expand the teaching of Chinese idioms, early intermediatelearners of Chinese can have a good understanding and be able to use of Chinese idiomsfrequently.This paper attempts to reveal differences of the idioms in China and South Korea, Thefinal design of appropriate teaching program. This teaching program will be a frequenteduse of selected idioms which will be compatible to the level of Chinese of its South Koreanstudents. Starting the teaching program in South Korea early, and with intermediateChinese learners to learn Chinese idioms are of great help towards their understanding ofChinese culture.
