Nowadays, even every corner we live is filled with information. While, internet plays an irreplaceable role during the process of information-spreading. More and more Chinese-learners hope to know about Chinese culture and society through internet directly. Furthermore, Chinese network can afford a genuine Chinese environment for those overseas-learners, which can let them make the language knowledge to be used immediately in the real language environment. Therefore, the innovation of the thesis is that trying to design a Chinese course which is based on the network resources by combining the internet and Chinese-teaching. According to the learners’study demands, under the Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) pattern, design a series of teaching tasks, making the students get to know about the Chinese network and put into practice while leaning Chinese. Thus, on one hand, the overseas Chinese-learners can obtain plentiful Chinese learning resources and a wider Chinese using environment; on the other hand, we are trying to make the learners’eyes on the learning platform--the Chinese internet so that they can develop the awareness of autonomous learning.In order to achieve a better teaching effectiveness, this thesis adopts the better developed TBLT approach, which is much more used in the second language teaching. TBLT is applied in English-teaching earlier, which has got into a deeper teaching practical stage currently. While, although in the field of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, we have got some achievements, there are still some developing-spaces. Under the direction of TBLT, we intent to make full use of the network resources to design a series of tasks implemented in Chinese-teaching. Through this course, the learners can not only learn Chinese but also learn how to use Chinese searching information on the internet. Therefore, this thesis possesses a great practical significance and application value.This thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is a brief introduction. Mainly introduces the significance of the study, innovation, the analysis methods, the emphases and difficulties of the study and the literature review, etc. The part of literature review presents the application study of TBLT used in English teaching and Chinese teaching, and the achievements. The second chapter is the structural design of Chinese teaching based on the network resources under the direction of TBLT. We first expound the theoretical issues of TBLT, including the concept of TBLT, the characteristics of TBLT, the principles of TBLT, and so on. Then, we specify the general teaching principles and process of TBLT, making the characteristic principles and teaching process of the network practical Chinese course. Besides, we also briefly illustrate the property, teaching objects, goals, teaching conditions and patterns of the course.The third chapter is the core of the thesis, designing a series of tasks of the task-based Chinese teaching, which is based on the network resources. Firstly, according to the questionnaire investigation results, we analyze the learning demands and determine teaching content. Secondly, we distribute the teaching content into five topics and design tasks separately.The forth chapter chooses one of the teaching task as the teaching example. First, we briefly describe the basic information of the teaching example. Second, we introduce the teaching process, including the introduction of the tasks design and implementation. Finally, we afford the teaching feedbacks and suggestions.
