Chinese directional complement, being a unique linguistic form, is very difficult to find a formal correspondence in Korean, which has been a difficulty for translation between Chinese and Korean, and also for South Korean students to learn Chinese.Centered on simple derectional complement, this essay has analyzed the Korean correspondence of Chinese directional complement, according to the semantic classification by Liu Yuehua.The main content is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is introduction, briefly describes the objective and significance of the essay, introduces the related previous researches and clarifies the essay’s research scope and methods.The second chapter analyzes the definition, scope, classification and grammatical significance of Chinese directional complement.The fourth chapter studies the Korean correspondence form of simple directional complement of Chinese on the basis of the semantic classification of chpater three.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and summarization of the contents discussed in the above chapters.I reaaly hope this essay can have some practical value in the translation practice between Chinese and Korean, do some help to the South Korean students to learn Chinese and contribute to the research of Chinese directional complement.
