Language teaching is a kind of culture teaching, this concept has became the consensus of many linguists and teachers who teach Chinese as a foreign language. In their eyes, culture teaching integrate into language teaching become more and more important, because of this, researching achievements about this field are increasing quickly. On this basis, this text conducted a theoretical review,which based on the domestic and abroad researching about culture teaching. According to the relationship between culture teaching and language teaching, this text pointed out that it is necessary to lead-in culture in the process of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL), summarizes the role of lead-in cultural according to the function of language as well. In addition, this text also combined the author’s actual teaching experience in the TCFL field and the domestic and abroad theoretical model about language and culture teaching, summarized the range of content, the methods of teaching and the principles of studying about lead-in culture form theory and practice. The content about lead-in culture is divided into three categories, namely:the semantics of Chinese culture, the pragmatic of Chinese language, the syntactic of Chinese culture. The methods about lead-in culture is divided into four, there are comparative and analysis of teaching, random integration of teaching, task-based teaching, experiential teaching. Lead-in culture must follows six principles, they are the sequential principle, the suitable principle, the practical principle, the principle of reference, the typical principle, the accurate principle. The above theoretical model are integrated into the author’s instructional design, and turn out to be the verification of effective teaching content and teaching methods.
