Research divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction include research significance, research history, research content and materials, research methods and explanation. The second chapter introduce classifiers’s source, definitions, characteristics and classifications. The third chapter is the investigation of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University’s students using classifiers. Include section I:students’s background, section II:Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Faculty of Humanities,Chinese major using Chinese classifiers questionnaire’s result and Section III:Summary. The fourth chapter is causing of classifiers’s error analysis in two aspects. First, analyze causing error on teaching, include teaching methods and materials and then analyze causing error on learning of Chinese classifiers. The fifth chapter is teaching suggestions, include the consolidating of classifiers’s theory research and particular case research, formulating outline and compile teaching materials, simplify and standardize the different stages of the classifiers’s teaching, correct and appropriate teaching methods, simplified Chinese classifiers and standard. In the conclusion, researcher conclude that the cause of error using Chinese classifiers of Thai students are the interference of the mother tongue, the teacher should first teach classifiers that happen the most error and at last teach classifiers that happen least error, at the same time pointed out the main reason that causing error analysis and teaching methods, and directions for future research.
