Whether it is ontology research or teaching Chinese as a foreign language research,quantifiers have always been a focus and a difficulty.In the teaching practice,it is found that influenced by factors such as teachers,Chinese teaching materials,teaching conditions,and students' level,Thai students often make mistakes in acquiring plane classifiers,which is necessary and valuable for further research.By means of tests,comparisons,interviews and other research methods,this paper takes 135 students of Rayong Technical College in Thailand as the investigation objects,and combines the author's teaching experience and the first-line teaching materials collected during the teaching period to investigate and analyze the acquisition of plane classifier " Zh?ng"," Piàn","Miàn" and " Fù" by students of Rayong Technical College in Thailand.The survey results show that the students of Thailand's Rayong Technical College have not acquired these planar classifiers satisfactorily,and there are mainly three kinds of errors: mixed use,disuse and wrong order.The main causes of acquisition errors are over-generalization of target language knowledge,negative transfer of mother tongue,learning strategies,communication strategies and teaching misleading.In view of these problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions from the following three aspects: teaching materials,teaching and learners.For example,the arrangement of quantifiers in teaching materials should conform to the level of students;teaching materials should pay more attention to the accuracy of the interpretation of quantifiers;teachers should strengthen the comparative study of quantifiers between China and Thailand;teachers should adopt various teaching methods to carry out teaching;teachers should strengthen the training and training of native Thai teachers;learners should feel the Chinese culture,understand the cultural implication of Chinese quantifiers,and find suitable learning strategies,etc.,so as to be helpful for the future teaching of quantifiers in Thailand.
