The Study Of The Vocabulary English,Translation In The Textbooks Of Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

This dissertation uses My Chinese Classroom as an example and researches itserrors in the English translation of vocabulary. First it generally analyzes the researchsituation of vocabulary teaching and translation. Second it collects and studies theerrors in the English translation of vocabulary. Then it gives the reasons and finally itgives some solutions on the basis of the whole dissertation.This dissertation can be divided into five chapters. Chapter one is the forwardwhich introduces the background and significance of the research, gives abibliographic summary and introduces some important theories of the research.Chapter two first introduces the importance of vocabulary study in TeachingChinese as a Foreign Language, and then analyzes some problems of the Englishtranslation of the vocabulary, such as the basic meaning, the additional meaning andthe grammar meaning are not equal between Chinese and English.Chapter three discusses the reasons of how these problems happen, such as thetextbook compiling problems, the language differences and the culture differencesbetween Chinese and English.Chapter four introduces some teaching methods of Teaching Chinese as aForeign Language, and then I give some of my own opinions.Chapter five is the conclusion which summaries the whole dissertation what Ihave done, what shortcomings I may have and great hopes of the future.Consider of the wide effect of social teaching organizations and theirself-compiled teaching materials, I believe that my dissertation of research MyChinese Classroom has its special meaning.
