Folk culture is an important ingredient which is composed of human, national cultural history and culturology, as an entry point, the content of folk culture education is related to our real daily life, and caters to the overseas students’ seeing and hearing. In these double effects, it shows that setting up the folk culture course is very important.In TCFL, due to the particularity of teaching object, cause the specialty of choosing and setting up the whole curriculum, especially in compile the textbooks, the quality of it decides to the success of the class. At the same time, in the whole Second language teaching, the tendency of Acculturation put forward the higher claim of the compiling of Chinese folk culture textbook’s which contain starting point and adaptation, in order to lighten the impact of different culture phenomenon. This thesis is about how to compile the folk culture textbook scientifically from the standpoint of TCFL, through analyzing and comparing General survey of Chinese customs by Mr.Yang cuntian, Chinese folk by Mrs. Shuyan and Chinese folk culture by Mr. Wang yanjun which compile for the overseas students, comparing with their problems in compiling. In view of these problems:most folk culture textbooks just paying attention to enumerate surface of things, ignoring to show the interior factor of Chinese culture, the style of writing is not scientific, editing content with the author’s subjective intention, confusing the Chinese folk culture concept etc, cause to the difficulty of effective teaching, at the same time, culture is the main content of language, it is necessary to contact with the culture when we study language. Therefore, from the real TCFL teaching’s point of view, and combine Second Language Acquisition’s Acculturation Theory, to analyze the situation of Chinese folk culture textbook’s compiling.The thesis first will explain the conception of Chinese folk culture, through introducing the importance of Chinese folk culture in TCFL teaching, analyzing and investigating the current Chinese folk culture textbooks, thus, it is necessary of compiling the Chinese folk culture textbooks scientifically and putting forward some theoretically consultative opinions.
