In the physiological and psychological period of rapid development of middleschool students,their mental health is essential. Bullying is a special type ofaggressive behavior that often occur in primary and middle schools, whether it isbullying or being bullied, bullying behavior will be have a serious negativeconsequences in their mental health to. Studies have shown that guilt as a kind ofmoral sentiment, both to promote the development of individual moral behavior andmoral character, meanwhile can block the emergence and development of immoralbehavior. Self-esteem is the emotional experience in their own value judgments on thebasis of impact on individual behavior, studies have shown that self-esteem levels canpredict individual bullying. In the context of multi-cultural, different ethnic studentshave its distinct characteristics about guilt, self-esteem and bullying, meanwhile guiltand self-esteem has important effect on their bullying. So,it is necessary to researchUighur and Han nationality middle school students’ bullying situation, and guilt,self-esteem effect on bullying.This study consists of two components which are qualitative research andquantitative research. The qualitative research is to investigate the bullying situationduring middle school students of Uighur and Han nationality, in order to lay thefoundation for the following dimension. The quantitative research selected894validsamples of students in3different schools which are in Aksu Prefecture and BazhouPrefecture. The purpose is to explore the differentces on the guilt, self-esteem andbullying. Aimed at analysis the inpact of guilt, self-esteem to bullying of Uighur andHan nationality middle students. In summary,the main conclusions of this study areas follows:1In the Uighur and Han nationality students, boys who produce bully behavior ismore than girls, and boys prefer body bullying and relation bullying,while girls preferchoose speech bullying and relation bullying.2In terms of bullying, Uighurs is more than Han nationality; and in terms ofguilt,Han nationaltiy is more sensitive than Uighurs; in terms of self-esteem, Hannationnality is higher than Uighurs.3Gender, guilt and self-esteem levels have forecasting function for bullying, low guilt and low self-esteem of boys have a greater possibility of bullying.4Group counseling can effective improve the guilt and self-esteem of teammembers, and then it can reduce the frequency of occurrence of bullying.
