Multimedia Courseware In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language(TCFL)

With the multimedia technology in the teaching of the increasing popularity and the technology matures, it is applied to the teaching and learning how modern technology means more and more attention. Application of multimedia computer-aided teaching methods in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL), not only is a required course for teachers to improve their teaching level, but also in the current international situation that Learning Chinese is hot. Student requires more learning materials, and at the same time multimedia technology is also a effective mathod promoting Chinese language learning.Currently China is in the foundation stage in the multimedia-assisted the TCFL research, and more focused on the theoretical aspects of the study, little research for classroom courseware design.On the basis of multimedia assisted teaching research of others, this paper explores courseware design principles, including:the principle of openness, scientific principles, the right amount of principle, layout design principles (including content, color, layout three aspects), interaction design principles. As an example Boya Chinese Ⅱ lesson41"Tomatoes fried eggs" discusses the multimedia courseware design tools and application, and try to take advantage of a variety of ways to present information in my paper, such as text, image, animation, audio, video, etc. also using software such as photoshop, powerpoint, premier, flash multimedia courseware. Paper try to explore more effective use of multimedia in TCFLIn the daily teaching process, more and more teachers are using multimedia courseware for classroom teaching. Generally teachers master little skill for the multimedia technology, they waste most of their time on technical problems and even no time to think about courseware design,so many teachers couldn’t create a really interesting courseware that can improve teaching efficiency and stimulate students’ interest in classroom. In view of this, the paper detailed analysis multimedia technology from the text script, script design, production processes.In the paper I also design a courseware which can provide other teachers some ideas and reference specific in courseware design. In my paper,the exercises made of flash can be used as a resource to other teachers in their production of courseware.
