Count from the year1980when China and Colombia established diplomatic relations,Chinese language teaching activities have been carried out in Colombia for more then30years. It is not a short time,but relatively speaking, there is still a lack of teaching resources,and teaching activities are in lack of continuity, the degree of teachers’ structure optimizationis low, all these problems need to be solved.This article pay attention to Columbia Elementary Chinese Classroom Teaching,launched a special investigation of the current teaching situation from two angles: classroomteaching content and teaching methods. The purpose of this article research is to honestlymake all the teachers who work for the Chinese language teaching in Columbia know thecurrent teaching situation, and encourage them to actively carry out effective methods andmeasures, to jointly promote the Chinese language teaching move toward in a steadily andhealthy way.In this article first i introduce the history, current situation and problems withdevelopment of Chinese language teaching in Columbia, focusing on the description of theColumbia Chinese language teaching content and teaching methods, they are divided into sixkinds: to teach with the help of visual aids, to teach with different scenes, to teach with games,to teach with the help of multimedia resources, to teach by organizing discussion betweenstudents and to teach by organizing competition activities. With the result of the samplesurvey carried on in three representative Chinese teaching institutions in Colombia we did ameaningful analysis, pointed out the existing contradictions and problems. And on this basis,gave some feasible suggestions to the preparation of Columbia Elementary Chinese teachingmaterials, implementation of classroom teaching strategies and classroom teaching methods.
