“Ba” sentence is a unique sentence structure in Chinese, it’s sentence patternsare very complicated and use frequently in speaking Chinese, it’s very hard for theforeigners to understand and master. Therefore, it’s become an important grammarpoint and difficult grammar point in teaching Chinese as a second language. More andmore teachers and students focus on this structure. Many specialists and scholars takethis structure as a very important topic in teaching Chinese as second language field.This paper based on the research about “Ba” sentence structure itself, combines thepractice of teaching Chinese as a second language, take the common error to analyze,find the main types of error and then based on the theory of error analysis to analyzethe reasons that cause these errors, make some corresponding teaching strategies tohelp foreigners to avoid the errors, the author hopes it will help to improve the “Ba”sentence structure teaching level.There are seven chapters in this paper. The first chapter mainly elaborates thepurpose and methods for how to research the “Ba” sentence structure, clears theimportance of it in Chinese teaching and the urgency of resolving the errors in thesefield. The second chapter introduces the present situation of “Ba” sentence structure,includes the researches in Chinese and teaching Chinese as a second language. Thethird chapter organizes the error of “Ba” sentence structure that the author collected,and classifies them according to the characters of the errors and “Ba” sentencestructure, finds a few most important types of error. The forth chapter based on thetheory of error analysis, combines the researches of the specialists and scholars andthe practice of the author to analyze the “Ba” sentence structure’s errors in the processof the foreigners learning it. The fifth chapter combines the main types of errors toresearch deeply, finding the subjective and objective reasons of forming these errors,summarizes the experience and lessons, lays a foundation for making teachingstrategies. The sixth chapter combines teaching practice to make some correspondingteaching strategies for “Ba” sentence structure. It’s puts forward some specificteaching methods in a combination of cognitive and functional, cognitive styles ofpsychology, error correction methods, multi-media teaching. The last chaptersummarizes the whole paper. The innovation of this paper are deeply investigates the particles error types of“Ba” sentence structure, and analyze the timing particle “zhe” in detail, elaborates thereason that caused this kind of error; puts forward the author own opinion for the errorthat caused by losing verbs; for the objective reasons of the error, especially theteacher’s teaching aspect puts forward the author’s own opinion; starts from cognitivestyles of psychology to make some corresponding teaching methods for differentcognitive styles.
