Situational Language Teaching Method (SLTM) is applied to foreign languageteaching in the1920s and1930s, which is rose from a specialized teaching method. Itputs emphasis on oral teaching, sentence, listening, situational awareness and itadvocates building a scenario to achieve teaching objectives through repeated practiceand imitate scenario. Chinese as a foreign language classroom, using pictures andkind of little aids, which is widely used, actually belong to a Teaching Scenarios.Poems of the Tang Dynasty are the splendid treasures in the literary history ofour Millennium, which have unique roles in the Chinese as a foreign languageclassroom. But by far the poem as a TCFL research object article only a few papers. Itmight be that most poems impression were poor practical, and it is difficult tolearning. But in fact, Poems of the Tang Dynasty can play a more important role,which was far beyond the people’s imagination. In this paper, using part of the spaceanalysis of Tang in characters, words, sounds, and culture can play a role to improvetheir Chinese, and the good usage of the rich resources of the poems of Tang Dynastyin China, is to help students to accumulate words, pronunciation exercise, andunderstand Chinese traditional culture and habits in an effective way.This paper focused on the arrangements for the regular courses of the poems ofTang Dynasty to enter the Chinese as a Foreign Language to find a suitable teachingideas and methods. SLTM of Poems of Tang Dynasty in Chinese as a ForeignLanguage Teaching by analyzing the Research Teaching Scenarios origin background,the theoretical basis of the principle of characteristics, scene classification andresearch status, try combining to take the house long on the scene pedagogy applied to foreign feasibility and application of the teaching of the Chinese Tang Dynasty waysto carry out the research and analysis, and specific curriculum design to determinescenario pedagogy in the teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language Tang Dynastyideas, curriculum design including teaching goal design, the the Tang Dynastyselection analysis, syllabus design, design of the teaching methods and teachingconsiderations.
