The subject matter of the thesis is misinterpretaion and miss of interpretation in C-E consecutive interpretation. First, the thesis clarifies the characteristics of interpretation and discusses its usualness based on Daniel Gile’s Effort Model and the interpretive theory. Then, based on the case study of "Globalization and China’s Diplomacy" speech on China Forum Mock Conference, the thesis probes into the reasons and the tactics of coping misinterpretaion and miss of interpretation in C-E consecutive interpretation.As probing the misinterpretaion and miss of interpretation, it might be of some help to interpreters and interpretation majors.In summery,the thesis is to help interpreters and interpretation majors to make good advantage of the tactics to promote the accuracy and fluency of interpretation.
