Food safety information is not only the genvorment to develop food safety policies and regulations based on, but also the important content of the modern food safety assurance system. Asymmetric information on the food market is one of the most important reason for significant food safety issues. To reduce the harm caused by food safety, food safety legislation in all countries attach great importance to buliding the food safety information disclosure system.This article is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction of the whole article, which sets out the main source of the problem, main ideas and content, research methods, significance and innovation. On the full role of writing played a foreshadowing.In the second section, food safety and information disclosure is discussed. On the historical origin, the current source, and the roots deep inside of food safety issues were analyzed. The effect of disclosing information in food safety and security is elaboratedIn the third section, the responsibility of government in food safety regulation and food safety information disclosure is discussed the system construction in the fourth section is guided by clarify the government’s responsibility in this section.In the fourth section, a simple introduction is made for food safety information disclosure system in the United States, European Union and Canada.
