The Research On China’s Food Safety Information Disclosure System

As the saying goes, people are the source of national strength, food is theparamount necessity of people and food safety is the top priority. Food safetyinformation disclosure is an important means to ensure the supply of food safety, foodsafety information disclosure is not only the provisions of the Food Safety Law andthe Government Information Disclosure Regulations, but also is the inevitablerequirement of guarantee the public’s right to know, to life and health. Therefore, tocarry on a thorough research is of great practical significance.This paper closely around the Food Safety Law, the Government InformationDisclosure Regulations and the relevant provisions, the will of study mainly focus onthe status quo of the implementation of the food safety information disclosure system.Aimed at the existing problems and the deficiency of the system in practice, this paperput forward the solutions of the related questions and seeks the harmony between thelaw and practice on the basis of the lessons from foreign advanced experience. Thispaper consists of five parts; the concrete content is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly put forward the necessity ofresearch on food safety information disclosure system based on the current chaos inthe field of food safety in China, and introduces the research status quo and theresearch methods, etc.The second chapter is an overview of the relevant food safety informationdisclosure system, first to define the concepts of food and the food safety, and thenanalyzes the theoretical basis of food safety information disclosure system and so on.The third chapter mainly introduced the legislative status quo of food safetyinformation disclosure system in our country, especially, the operation of food safetyinformation disclosure system, and then points out the defects and deficiencies of thecurrent system.The fourth chapter mainly introduced the experience and enlightenment of therelated system in the United States, Germany and other countries, mainly from thefollowing three aspects: the food safety information disclosure body, the disclosureprocedure, the right relief system and so on.The last chapter is the suggestions to perfect the food safety informationdisclosure system on the basis of the experience from the United States, Germany andother developed countries.
