Research On Power Regulations Of Key Town

Zhejiang province economy growing rapidly since the government carried out the reform and opening up policy, the establishment and deepening of the socialist market economic system need more efficiency and quality public services, which were provided by the government.Local government had more responsibility in providing public services and promoting the coordination of urban and rural economic development. However, the government’s limits of power got not suited to the local economic and social characteristics, which led to the conflict between local governance and regional development turned seriously, and restricted the development of local economy. In this context, early in 2007, Shaoxing city, which was the first one in enlarging powers to develop towns. Shaoxing city have given some of it’s key town the privileges power in charging of the county’s economic and social administration. What can be proved by the practice is that enlarging powers of key town plays a significant role in promoting economic and social development. However, the risk of running power has increased, and the problems of lack supervision and evaluation power appeared. To further protect the specification of run power, Shaoxing city actively explore the power regulations.This paper take power regulation of key towns in Shaoxing city as an example, first to review the related literature and analyse the theories. Second, introduce the practice of power regulation of key towns in Shaoxing city and analysis the driving force of power regulation, then explain the case study of power regulation in Shaoxing city and compare it with other counties to enrich the study of this research. Third, analysing the effect of the example from the political, economic, social, and cultural aspects, and find out it’s advantages and disadvantages. Finally, giving the countermeasures and suggestions in improving the power regulation of key towns.
