Self-confident personality is an important part of personal growth and career success, essentialpsychological quality plays an important driving role in the development of the wholepersonality.Secondary school students this special groups is in an important period of the individual physicaland mental development.Because of academically weak, they suffer from long-term treatment ofschool and social inequality.The survey found that secondary school students is a general lack ofconfidence, a serious impact on learning,life and employment. Group counseling as an effectiveform of psychological counseling, individual consultation has significant advantages forchanging students’ cognitive, develop communication skills, improve self-confidence. Therefore,this study of secondary school students to explore the group counseling program for vocationalschools to help students change the perception, self-understanding, and ultimately improve thelevel of confidence.In this study, the the Jiaonan Vocational Education Center students as subjects,16wereselected from the recruitment of volunteers, were randomly divided into experimental andcontrol groups, to develop self-confidence group coaching program, the experimental group oncea week, a total of eight group counseling, the control group received no treatment. Experimentalgroup-control group of the experimental design, statistical analysis of the two sets of resultsbefore and after the experiment.In this study, the following conclusions:(1) self confidence group coaching program has practical feasibility and effectiveness.(2) self-confidence group counseling to improve the role of secondary school studentsself-confidence, and social avoidance and distress also decreased significantly.(3) static group activities better than the dynamic inspire members to reflect and grow.The static group activities "means activities consisting mainly of members of independentthinking and reflection; dynamic group activities" means activities consisting mainly of membersto participate in group games.)(4) structured group and non-structured combination of counseling program.
