Han Yu's Poetry In The Qing Dynasty Annotated Research

A large number of people study HanYu’s poetry,Song dynasty appeared the grand occasion that five hundreds scholars annotate HanYu’s collection.This influence extended to Qing dynasty,many scholars of Qing Dynasty studied of his collection.There were two of them who note HanYu’s poem,one was GuSili with Mr. Changli Poetry Notes, and the other was FangShiju’s HanChangli poetry Chronological Notes.This paper compares the two annotation.At first,I analyzed writing background, their theory and Poetic Viewpoints in the comparison process,and then compare notes.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is a foreword,the main significance of the topics and research status.The first part of text is the situation of Han’s collection’s publishing and spreading.Because HanYu is known for his article,it covered his poem.Han’s collection includes article and poem.There are few separate reprint of poetry,so this part mainly analyzed Han’s collection’s publishing and spreading in both Qing Dynasty and before it.The second part is GuSili and the emergence of Song and Yuan’s poetic style.In this part I introduce the brief account of GuSili’s life and the situation of his works.He is famous on anthology of Yuan Dynasty’s poem. It can help us understand his poetic thought by analying his understanding on Yuan’s poetry.He compile anthology of Yuan Dynasty’s poem and emergence of Song and Yuan’s poetic style are inseparable.We can analyz the influence of Song and Yuan’s poetic style on GuSili.The third part is FangShiju and the development of TongCheng School.FangShiju is FangBao’s cousin,TongCheng poetics deeply influenced him. Tongcheng School’5interpretation of Han Yu’s poetry have certain effect on FangShiju’s annotation of Han’s poetry.The forth part is the comparation of GuSili and FangShiju’s annotation from compilation style and content.From the compilation style,Gu’s annotation are arranged in form and Fang’s annotation are arranged in time.From content, Gu’s annotation pay more attention to collation and phonetic notation and FangShiju’s annotation emphasis on explanation.
