For foreign students, the teaching of euphemism is the focus point and the difficulties. Learning euphemism can make them understand the social psychology of Chinese culture,folk customs and mode of thinking in communication,meanwhile,It’s good for the communication of Chinese and foreign culture. So this paper focus on how to improve students’ Chinese euphemism acquisition level.In Chapter Ⅰ, the background and methods of research are introdueced at first.The scholars elaborate the Chinese euphemism according to the fields of sociolinguistics,pragmatics,lexicology,rhetoric,cultural perspective.Otherwise,the research of foreign language euphemism teaching is not as rich as the position of the influence. In the second chapter, The definition of euphemism is proposed at first,and the three characters, the psychological manifestations and the four social function of communication are analyzed.The third chapter,according to two categories of Chinese euphemism,the survey is proposed to the middle-level students and the advanced students. The reason of mistakes are explained,and the suggestions of chinese euphemism are proposed.The last chapter, According to questionnaire for the teachers,the suggestions are proposed.The conclusion of this paper is:teachers and students should pay much more attention on how to accumulate, strengthen understanding, They should use lexical network constructing students’ euphemism vocabulary system; They should increase the contrast teaching sentence, to improve sentence euphemism acquisition level;They should continue to penetrate the use of figures of speech knowledge, They should improve the level of rhetoric euphemism acquisition; They should pay attention on training students in various context semantic; They should focus on the tradition and development of combination; in the process of teaching, They should pay attention to the Chinese and foreign cultural contrast.
