After the establishment of China-British relationship,China’s traditional ZongFansystem challenged, the foreign system began to difficult transition process. In thecombination of internal and external, driven to MaJiaLi case as a turning point, China inBritain up the first overseas legation. At first minister’s ambassador to Britain and a fewcountries and affairs, to established Foreign ministry, just to complete the change ofSpecial envoys. Britain as was the most powerful country in the world, China-Britishrelationship thus becomes China’s most important foreign bilateral relations in late qingperiod. In order to prevent Russia, France and other countries to the expansion of theBritish activities in China is a threat to rights, the British not only invaded Chinese FanShucountries, China’s ZongFan challenge system, also direct invasion of China the frontier,trying to maintain its dominant position in China. The ambassador to Britain as therepresentative of the Qing government minister, and Britain in such as north Korea, Burma,Tibet, Xinjiang and many major issues, for maintenance ZongFan system and China bordersecurity launched difficult negotiations.
