With the frequent natural disasters in China, post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction has become an important component which reflects the government’s emergency response capacity and management level. Local governments at all levels use public policy as a carrier to deal with the issues of disaster relief, post-disaster reconstruction and development, and achieve significant results. Aiming at restoring people’s production after disasters, post-disaster reconstruction as a sustainable development policy has been widely used in China. Based on policy implementation perspective, the study of post-disaster reconstruction has important practical significance and far-reaching theoretical guidance significance.Based on policy implementation perspective and aiming to ensure the safety of the people’s lives, protect their assets and maintain the sustainable development of local economy in disaster area, this article analyzing on studies on policy implementation in the reconstruction work will discuss the problems and make relevant recommendations, in order to improve local government’abilities of post-disaster rehabilitationand reconstruction.This article is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, which introduces the significance of the origin of this study and related research at home and abroad, and defines the basic concepts. The second part deals with the related theories of this article, including the definition of policy implementation of post-disaster reconstruction and its analytical model. The third part aims at discussion and analysis of the status of policy implementation of post-disaster reconstruction and finds out those problems existing in policy implementation. Using the analysis method of policy implementation of the integrated model, the fourth part searches for the causes aroused by problems of policy implementation of post-disaster reconstruction. Based on the above problems and causes analysis, the fifth part presents optimized recommendations of policy implementation of post-disaster reconstruction.
