Since The Founding Of The Change And Reconstruction Research Of Our Country's Frontier Governance Mode

’borderlan’ is a political issue, a cultural concept as well as a geographical term. It usually is of great importance as national security and stability are considered. It is also a dispensable part of the whole territory and a key area to the regional development. The administration of borderland has been highly valued by rulers, of course and the CCP.Currently, there is an abundance of researchs over the borderland administration and its concepts, but most of them focus on the layer of the entire conutry and rarely centered on a certain province. Being a typical border-area, Yunnan province here is chosen to be illustrated as an example in this research.Three prats are arranged as follow:1, introduction of the concepts;2, Illustration of the borderland administraion in each stage of the history;3, paradigm of the administraion system.Three phases are to be discussed serparately, first we will go through a lot of policies, then do some analysis to find out the suitable paradigms, in this part, we will find inter-ethnic ideology and emotivism are atill the main force, though regionalism and regulationism have entered the history since our country got independence. but in the period of’culture revolutin’, inter-ethnic ideology and emotivism have been entirely abandoned, only regionalism and regulationism were left, however, in the prsent days, regionalism and regulationism have got our attention again, but they are still not the main stream.With the analysis of the past, I noticed the old paradigm can not fully explain the reality, so in order to solve these problems, we are supposed to build a new system which is based on regulationism, with regionalism as its core and inter-ethnic ideology and emotivism as its necessay parts.
