Abstract/Summary:
As the developing of economy and society in China, the reform of Government administrative system, the non-profit organization has been booming, and it has been playing a more and more important role in the political, social and cultural life. The volunteer is the most important human resource in the non-profit organization, the management of volunteers has a direct impact on the development and expansion of non-profit organization. Because of a late start of the voluntary service, there is still a great distance between our country and Foreign country on the volunteer management of non-profit organization and there are still many difficulties and shortcomings on the volunteer management. These difficulties can influence the enthusiasm of volunteers for providing volunteer services, and these difficulties will influence the non-profit organizations to develop volunteer services. Academic research of volunteer management is still in its infancy, and most of studies focused on a certain case, so it is not systematic enough, and indigenous studies about volunteer management are very poor. Therefore, the investigatation of volunteer management not only has a certain significance, but also has some theoretical value. In this Paper, we make the non-profit volunteer management of China as the object, make Quancheng Volunteer as the case, and we want to proposing the countermeasure for improving the volunteer management of the non-profit organization.First of all, this paper reviews the theory of volunteers management of non-profit organization. Secondly, the paper makes the Quancheng volunteer as the case, and by the studying of the case, the author found that, the quantity of the non-profit organizations have been developed, and the activities fields have enlarged. The non-profit organizations’ activities fields are almost in cities and counties, and they make an enormous social benefits to our country’s social live. Meanwhile the Volunteer Troop of our country gets develop and grow, the Quancheng Volunteer is a pure volunteer organization, since established in2005, volunteers have developed from147to120,000, and the service cover many fields, like Environmental Action, Legal aid,Appliances Furniture Repair, psychological consultation, health screening and so on. But the age of the troop is mainly constituted by young and old, and the young volunteer has a highly liquid. By analyzing and comparing, the author found that the Non-profit Organizations as Quancheng Volunteer have initially established a registration program, relatively paying attention to mobilize and motivate and initially form the management process. However, there are many problems of our country’s non-profit organizations’volunteer management, they include imperfect of laws and regulations, nonprofessional in the training of volunteers, lack of professional people in volunteer management, single of Protection and Incentive Ways of volunteers. The problems are harm for volunteer organization to conduct of Volunteer service activities sustainable and effective. And thus, the paper thinks volunteer organizations should focus on the following aspects to improve the Non-profit Organizations’ volunteer management in our country:perfecting laws and regulations, enhancing the strength of the volunteers’ training, enhancing to establish professional troop of volunteer management, improving the incentive and guarantee mechanism.
