The volunteer is very important human resource in the non-profit organization, and the most characteristic human resource as well. With the development of non-profit organization, volunteer's value in our society is more and more obvious. But because of various kinds of reasons, organization's question in volunteers management is more and more serious, and improper processing methods can cause the organization facing with the awkward situation. However ,in our country , at present ,the research of volunteer management in non-profit organization is still at the stage of exploring ,and the system research of volunteer's management in non-profit organization still need further deal. Thus, discussing carrying on this question not only has the theory value, but has very strong practical significance. This article's main research mentality is as following. Through the research to the present situation of volunteer participation, I analyze the motive type of the voluntary service. Through the situation of using human resources management idea in non-profit organization, I analyze the main process of volunteer management. Through analyzing the difficult position of volunteer management at present, I put forward the related proposal.The article is divided into six parts. In first part, I introduce the theory value, the practical significance and main research problem of this article. In second part, I have defined the noun of non-profit organization, and then, I introduce the development of non-profit organization at present from such respects as its field of activity, development pattern,and main function etc., and draw the conclusion on this basis. The third part is relevant analysis about voluntary service and the volunteer. In this part I have clarified the concepts of volunteers, voluntary service separately and have analyzed volunteer's complicated motive of participating in voluntary service, and have classified the motive that the volunteer participated in the voluntary service. The conclusion is obtained finally that on the basis of the complexity of volunteer's motive, the superintendent in non-profit organization must consider volunteer's motive in relevant procedure of volunteer management and make the corresponding response.
