As a represention of post-colonial theory,his thought is fulled of strong ideology and critical sense. He is against with the western cultural hegemony.Although "Traveling theory" is only a name of an article,it can generalize the core features of Said’s theory.Therefore,my point is that the researching of "Traveling theory" can helps us to understand Said’s other post-colonialism theories better. So we also can say that Said has summarized his view with "Traveling theory".My paper is made up by five parts what are the background,stage,character and significance,of "Traveling theory".With these parts,we can make a systemic research of "Traveling theory".Totally speaking,"Traveling theory" can helps us to solve the problems perduced in the process of theories’ traveling and development. At the same time,there is a lot of enlightenment for domestic literary academia,which is faced with the phenomenon of "theories excessiveness".
