The Government The Psychological Intervention In The Natural Disaster Emergency Management Research In China

In recent years, natural disasters occur frequently in China, cause significant losses to social development and people’s lives. The impact of natural disasters bring to the general public are two aspects. On one hand, it take tangible impact on the material level; On the other hand, the invisible impact on the psychology was brought, the latter of which is more important and was most easily ignored. Natural disasters cause negative psychological problems to the public, such as anxiety, fear, sadness. If it cannot be solved, these problems will exacerbate the extent and scope of impact the natural disasters brought and further disrupt the order of our life, leading to a greater disaster. Therefore, in the rescue process, government attention should be paid not only to saving lives and property, but also the psychological assistance. In foreign country, psychological intervention is a major part of the Government’s emergency management in the disaster. The research and practice of psychological intervention has been developed for a long time in developed countries, while, it started lately in China, much theoretical research and practical work should be continue to strengthen.China is a government-led society, government is the main implementers of the disaster rescue. To help victims restore peace of mind and normal life is not only the responsibility of government, but also speeding up the process of our country to build a "socialist harmonious society". At present, China has been done a lot in theoretical research and system building, with intent bringing psychological intervention into the natural disaster emergency management mechanism. This article consists of four parts. First, some related knowledge of the psychological intervention in the emergency management of natural disasters is elaborated. Next, the significance of psychological crisis intervention in natural disasters and the current psychological crisis intervention under natural disasters in China were analyzed. Then United States, Japan and other developed countries were took as example, exploring the composition and operation mechanism of psychological crisis intervention in developed countries in order to improve the work of psychological crisis intervention under natural disasters in China. Finally, combined with China’s actual conditions some solutions were figured out.
