From The Perspective Of Public Space In Democracy

In the political practice of modern society, the world politicaloperation and political system has taken more attention to the scopeand depth of public participation and participate democracy theoryhas become a important dimension on the development ofdemocracy. Because of the emphasis on the essence of democracy,apparently participate democracy is a further development in themodern democracy theory.However, elite democratic theorydisagrees with it, mainly based on the public persons character andpolitical ability. This paper mainly discusses the core theme andconnotation of participate democracy theory through studying textresearch of many scholars, to master the limits and advantages ofdemocratic participation. Facing modern citizenship weak, this paperhold this perspective of public space to discusses the necessity andpossibility of participate democracy, in order to get the construction ofdemocracy at the grass-roots level, This article focuses on democraticparticipation research from the public space perspective and studieshow to strengthen the construction of democracy at the grass-rootslevel in China, combining with Wenling model. This paper mainly aims toprovide constructive suggestions for reference, promoting theconstruction of democracy at the grass-roots level for our country.
