The Jews are an ancient and legendary people. After coming through two thousandyears of the diffusing life, they suffered the national disaster from the Nazi holocaust.After World War II, the Jews who had managed to escape from the disaster began to theZionist road again, and finally set up their own country–Israel on May14,1948.However, the founding of the country caused five unprecedented fierce wars in theMiddle East and the endless low intensity conflict to the Jews, not peace and tranquility.Since the founding of Israel, it has been influenced by the animosity of surroundingArab countries and the threat of some terrorist attacks. Even its strategic environment isvery dangerous, but Israel surrived miraculously, and won every battle in the war ofneighborring Arab countries. Israel maybe one of the most countries of the worldsufferring the terrorist attack. So Israel has accumulated rich experience to deal withthese attacks and made a set of perfect and unique anti-terrorrism strategy.There are five chapters in this paper.Chapter one is about the main terrorist attacks, which Israel has been sufferringsince its founding. Such as hijacking, hostage-taking, rocket attack and suicide bombingand so on. Over the sixty years, the attack means terrorist used change frequently, and therange of attacking also gradually from Israel to international.Chapter two is about the main anti-terrorism organization in Israel. Decision-making organ is the core organization, responsible for drawing up plans of anti-terrorism.Intelligence is the key organization, responsible for collecting information of terroristactivities. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel National Polices (INP) are themain executive departments and mainly responsible for implementation of anti-terrorismactions.Chapter three is about the anti-terrorism strategies taken by Israel to deal with theviolence attacks of terrorists. Strengthening defenses, and implementing deterrence toterrorists or terrorist groups, and conducting preemptive strike when it is necessary. Inaddition, defensive and offensive measures are used simultaneously.Chapter four is about evaluating the anti-terrorism effect of Israel for decades. The international community have different views about this. Someone held a positiveattitude, and someone held a negative attitude. Combining with views of the two parties,the author summarized the successful experience and the difficulties of Israel facing onanti-terrorism..The last chapter is about the major terror threats to China, and then discussing someenlightenments from Israel`s anti-terrorism experience and lessons according to China’snational conditions of reality.
