With the development of globalization, international trade is playing a more and moreimportant role. After China’s accession to the WTO, import and export trade volume increasedsignificantly, inevitably faced with the technical trade protectionism related issues. Variouscountries and international organizations are trying to eliminate and reduce the technicalbarriers to trade, to guarantee the freedom of international trade and convenience. As China isa open country, a responsible big country, also be the technical barriers to trade as the focus ofthe work of foreign trade. In this paper, the technical barriers to trade has done a detailedtheory is introduced, and compared the countries and regional organizations on the technicalbarriers to trade work in progress, analysis of our response to the current internationalsituation should be how to deal with technical barriers to trade problem.This paper is divided into five parts.
