Social Work Intervention And Community Correction Ways To Improve

This study attempts to explore China’s grass-roots community organizations correction through the field survey of Gansu Province, a town justice of Community Correction, Community Correction modalities. Specifically, I will focus on the following three aspects of analysis, first, the Chinese grass-roots community correctional institutions existing community correction method is what? Second, the defects of the community correction mode what are the main? Third, how social work intervention to improve grass-roots community correction?In this study, using documents, interviews, participant observation to collect first-hand experience of the case of judicial information, and by comparison the United States, Britain, Japan and the three countries and China’s Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou Community Correction conducted in-depth analysis, provide a reference for building a community correction improved the way in the context of social work intervention.This study combed the Chinese and Western scholars on the Community Correction theory of judgment. Theoretical point of view of foreign scholars:the new social defense theory of criminal correction theory, labeling theory on criminology, restorative justice theory; the theoretical perspectives of scholars:the polarization theory of the criminal policy of the Prison Execution Paradox, the execution of punishment on the welfare correction theory and social work theory. Subsequently, the case of judicial data analysis, the execution of punishment and social unity is the most effective method in the case of Justice, Community Correction.In this study, the task center model theory that helping activities of social work is a continuous purpose of the change process, and advocate in the process of diagnosis and service, first set out a clear plan and time limit, so it may reach a treatment goal. Which case the main problem-solving abilities and potential, the case of the main through the process of professional services, can enhance the ability to solve problems, learn methods and techniques, which can use these capabilities, methods and techniques to deal with similar problems may occur in the future or new problem. This approach emphasizes the help of Community Corrections and to deal with specific problems, with special attention to be clearly defined and focus on the task to determine the course of their work and working methods of the task.In this study, the lack of limits on Judicial Community Correction mode exists, consider that the use of the direct intervention of social work at the individual level, group level of direct involvement of the indirect method of intervention at the community level, to improve the judicial community correction mode positive significance.
