| India Lok Sabha’s election for democracy is the most important election after independence. This paper attempts to analyze the India’s1970’s political development process and trend since1977. In the meantime, to make objective and fair evaluation about election to India’s democratic political influence. This paper is mainly divided into three parts:The first part mainly discusses the background of the1977India Lok Sabha’s election. From the political and economic situation in India before the election and the influence of the Indira Gandhi’s implementation about a national emergency. From Gandhi’s finally decision to call early elections and other aspects to analyze the background of the India election in1977.The second part mainly shows the1977India election’s process. This section reveals the competition between two main parties during the election campaign of India and all walks of people’s political attitude to the election.The third part mainly shows the results and the causes of1977India election. to the elaboration of the central regime change, This section also discovers the cause of the Congress to resign from the decline of itself, class, social factors and individual factors of Indira Gandhi.The fourth part mainly analyses the effect of the1977election. Based on the reorganization after general election party forces and India’s foreign policy adjustment, the analysis on the1977election impact is carried out.The last part of the essay includes the theoretical thoughts about India central regime change, the effects on the form of political parties and the effects of the general election on the democratization process of India.
