The Research On The Present Situation And Strategy Of Psychological Services Personnel For The Armed Police Force

The Armed Police Force has undertaken various urgent, difficult, dangerous and heavy tasks for the sake of its functions and missions. In recent years, the protection of great tasks, the maintenance of stability and disaster relief have caused psychological impacts to the troops more or less. The problems are gradually becoming serious; for the demand of psychological services towards the officers, and the higher psychological work standard. What’s more, the urgent need to improve both the psychological quality and competence of staff has become increasingly prominent. Regarding to this situation, building a reliable psychological services team which is greatly responsible, well-trained, and dedicated is the army’s first thing to consider.The "Views On the Strengthening the Army Psychological Services Work Under the New Situation " and "Views", which are jointly issued by General Staff, General Political Department, General Logistics Department and General Armament Department emphasized that the Party committees at all levels should regard carrying out psychological services as an important task to implement the scientific concept of development, as a recurrent basis to strengthen the building of Army, as being the servant of troops and the officers, strengthening the organization of leadership, carrying out work to promote the Psychological Services to work effectively and orderly.At present, the situation of the Army’s psychological work is not satisfying enough. Although the superior pay much attention and the grassroots has a strong need, the problems are still serious in the lack of psychological service personnel and the cadre of weak quality, which has become a "bottleneck" restricting the intensifying work of psychological services. The psychological services personnel is highly responsible to fulfill the historical mission in the new century and new stage of our army and to positively respond to multiple security threats, together with accomplish diverse military tasks of great significance. Under the new circumstances, having a thorough understanding of the psychological services is a major practical issue of the construction of the personnel.In this essay, I will start from the construction status of the Armed Police Force personnel of psychological services, and furthermore I will analysis the following subjects:first, the demand of the psychological services talented;second, how to expand the ways for troops psychological services work to cultivate the talented; third, reinforce troops psychological services personnel development platform in all aspects; moreover, concerning the possible psychological crisis that may arise in the future when doing information technology tasks and non-war military operations, there are some of my countermeasures and suggestions towards how to build a properly structured psychological services personnel with excellent and professional quality, for effectively safeguarding the mental health of officers and soldiers.
