A large number of urban community crime brought greatthreat to our daily life, brought serious challenges to the urban community safetyproblems,too.The crime prevention system with the theory of the crime preventionconstantly enrich and improve, it converted from single prevention activities todevelopment of the diversity of the crime prevention activities. Through theenvironment management to prevent crime of theory and practice under the guidanceof foreign feasibility which quietly rising in China. It is mainly focus on the goal ofcrime and object, through to the environmental management and designed to changethe environment physical space structure and layout, so as to achieve the purpose ofthe crime prevention.Through the environment management to prevent crime theory is a kind ofpractical strong new crime prevention theory. It devotes to the prevention of crime,considering of the environmental management and crime, the relationship betweencommunity policing and the residents. In the community policing dominant forcefor the premise, give full play to the initiative of the community, through to the city ofthe whole community space layout, concrete building design and community ofinfrastructure and other activities, and enhance the community residents and theLingShu sense, to reduce crime, and to reduce the chance, to increase the risk of crimeand crime cost, eventually reduce and control the occurrence of crime, create livablecity community environment. After years of theoretical and empirical studies, thistheory received many abroad countries welcome and praise, its research results iswidely used in the urban community planning and building design process, and haveachieved remarkable effect, and also widely used in our urban community.This article started with our city’s community, and analyses the urban community crime characteristics and development trends, and find out the relationshipbetween the city community environment design and prevent crime, and set out withtwo big factors which was the subjective and objective, and found out in the course ofurbanization, causing the urban community crime factors.At the same time combiningwith the foreign environment design to prevent crime theory research, In view ofChina’s urban community development characteristics, put forward in the citycommunity development process, should with community policing as the guidance,fully combined with the community, and through the proper environmentalmanagement, and finally puts forward some conforms to our country city communitydevelopment of criminal prevention and suggestions.
