The Research Of The Socialist Core Value System Construction

Culture is the powerful weapon for people to know and transform the world.Cultural every progress，is a step towards freedom. In the present era，culture hasbecome a more and more important source of national cohesion and creativity and afactor of growing significance in the competition in overall national strength. Theconstruction of cultural soft power has been promoted to the height of the nationaldevelopment strategy.The socialist core value system is not only fundamental to a country’s soul, but alsothe fundamental of the national cultural soft power. The construction of the socialistcore value system can contribute to promote social cohesion and identity of themainstream ideology. In addition, the construction of socialist core value system canhelp to maintain the safety of our culture, and to expand the international influence andappeal. Its ultimate goal is to enhance national cultural sotf power. The report of theSeventeenth Party Congress put forward the concept of soft power. Today, China’sdevelopment has made remarkable achievements. However, compared with the hardpower, cultural soft power is not enough. In order to ensure the sustainable developmentof China’s hard power, we need to enhance the cultural sotf power.This dissertation ifrst puts forward topic meaning and current research situation athome and abroad, then discusses the basic concepts, such as value and sotf power, thenelaborates the definitions and logical connections of the socialist core value system andcultural sotf power. The socialist core value system is composed of four parts： Marxistguiding ideology;common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics;the nationalspirit With patriotism as the core and the spirit of the age by reform and innovation asthe core;the socialist concept of honor and disgrace. Cultural sotf power is composed offour parts: current ideology and core values; the Chinese traditional culture;foreignpolicy;China’s development path and mode of system. This dissertation adheres to theMarxist stand, principles and methods, and on these basis，it analysis theory origin ofthe national cultural sotf power from three different perspective, including the Marxistclassical writers, the traditional Chinese culture and the Chinese Communist Party’scultural consciousness.At the end of the paper, we summarize the achievements and theexisting problems in the process of cultural construction, and then propose a realistic path to building the socialist core value system and cultural sotf power. Regard socialistcore value system as fundamental in order to make socialist ideology more attractiveand cohesive. Regard traditional cultural resources as a basis, in order to concisesocialist core value view of body lay a solid power source. Regard socialist culturalconstruction as the center link, in order to establish the system of socialist core values toprovide intellectual support.
