Therefore, analysis the characteristics and effects of the network mass incidents, and then explore a set of mechanisms to resolve social conflicts, has become both a theoretical and practical significance of the urgent task.This thesis is as follows:In the introduction part of this paper presents the research background, research status, research methods and main ideas, and defines the network mass incidents’related concepts, In this part, introduce the functions of social conflict theory and the theory of the relief valve, to provide a theoretical basis for the analysis of network mass incidents.In the second part analyzes the characteristics of the network mass incidents. First, the network mass incidents’participants have high mobility and anonymity. Second, the main body of the network mass incidents is symbolic. Third, the bipolar class who have no conflict in social reality are more prone to "cross-border-style" friction; fourth, the responsibility of the network conflict point to the government ultimately, even if the Government is not something conflicting parties.In the third section, the network mass incidents are classified into three types and analyze them with examples:trigger from the network event; trigger by the network events which extend from real-life; trigger by new things which breed out from the network. In addition, take the more representative Zhu Ling event as an example to discuss the gathering and promotion of the network and the open game of people and privileged class.Then in the fourth part discusses the social impact of network mass incidents. First, the network provide people a platform to vent their dissatisfaction variety, all walks of psychology are available online to stretch, this vent helps to reduce the dissatisfaction of the local government, so the network has become a major social discontent relief valve; Second, the network plaza political has become real. Third, The virtual and anonymity of the network makes vulnerable groups will vent their dissatisfaction and obtain great support, forming a network angry culture.In the fifth part, according to the above discussion, proposed three levels of the network mass incidents scientific countermeasure. First, it can convert the main conflict, stand On the side with the public actively. Second, the conflict can be dispersed, fostering an open and flexible diverse social structures. Third, reduce the source of the conflict, to eliminate the conflict fundamentally soil and effectively resolve internal conflicts.Finally stressed these conflicts have a "valve" and "feedback" function because of widespread and low-intensity nature, can be regarded as a low-cost means of monitoring network public opinion.
