Abstract:Mass incidents is currently the directly reflects of a variety of social problems and social conflicts in the context of China’s social transformation, economic transformation stage, which becomes a huge challenge to the new era of social management and public governance."Mass incidents" also known as "mass unexpected events" or "burst mass incidents", which can cause some impact to interrupt the government and communities’normal order at sometimes, even bring a certain intensity of confrontation. Because of the huge negativity and social impact, sudden mass incidents make much public harm on many areas such as political, economic, social, cultural, and diplomatic.In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and technology, new media network has become widely used in the information age. In view of the convenience of and anonymity, through the network the Internet messaging can produce a wider range and more complex social impact of public opinion of certain mass incidents in a short time. How to correctly understand and effectively preparedness and handle the network public opinion of the mass incidents, has become a major issue of public governance which the government can not be ignored, and it is also the focus and the important functions of local governments presently.In this thesis, we take the internet public opinion of Wukan mass incidents as the research object to make empirical case study. Through the content and mechanism analyzes, to study the occurrence, evolution and mechanism of the mass incidents under the promotion of the internet public opinion. And as a theoretical basis, proposed the path network to optimize the government’s policy at the governance of public opinion. |
