The Study Of University Students’ Affairs Management By Objectives Mode Based On The View Of Counselor

Students’ affairs administration is an important part of university management, andhas an irreplaceable role to help university achieve the goal of talent training. Nowadaysstudents’ affairs administration is facing great challenges in the period of socialtransformation. University students’ affairs administration in urgent need to updatemanagement concept in the ideology field, and clear working pattern, innovativemanagement models in areas of action. Develop university students’ affairs administration,both learn, seriously study the international advanced experience and good practices andactively explore, bold innovate based on the domestic university reality. In this paper, wefrom the aspect of university counselor perspective, discuss the mode of students’ affairsadministration under the new situation, in order to improve the current university students’affairs administration.Firstly, the author clears the object of study, relevant concepts and theories. From thetheoretical point of view, on the one hand, the author introduced the university students’affairs administration mode, management by objectives and its related concepts andfeatures. On the other hand, the author provided the theoretical support for theimprovement and innovation of China’s university students’ affairs administration mode.Secondly, this part mainly focuses on analysis of current situation and discoveringproblems. Based on comparative analysis of international major nations and regions’university students’ affairs administration mode, the author focused on analysis of thestatus and features of university students’ affairs administration mode in China, pointingout the necessity and urgency of building university students’ affairs administration modeof new period in China.Thirdly, it mainly includes proposing ideas and building the model. Through analysisof the feasibility of objectives of management theory applied in university students’ affairsadministration in order to form this basic idea of university students’ affairs managementby objectives. And then the organization of university students’ affairs management byobjectives mode was set. At last, university students’ affairs management by objectivesmode should be specific built from these three processes of the establishment of target system, implementation of management by objectives and evaluation of management byobjectives.Finally, it is mainly solving problem. The author utilized as-built university students’affairs management by objectives mode, and gave the setting for the organization ofYanshan University students’ affairs administration. And then the author designed anddeveloped a ‘Yanshan University students’ affairs management by objectives informationsystem’. This information system’s designing includes objective setting, objectiveimplementation, achievements evaluation and rewards and punishment incentives, aimedat improving Yanshan University students’ affairs administration level.
