The theory of career anchor is an important theory in modern human resourcemanagement, carry out career education among college students with the help of theeffective evaluation of career anchor not only benefit students in their professionalorientation and selection, but also conducive to the university in the effectiveness ofcareer education. In recent years, the employment problem of college students hasbecome a hot topic and social concern, a suitable job becomes increasingly difficult forcollege students, the phenomenon of many college students unemployed or contractbreach or Job-hopping is increasing. Therefore, in the process of enrolment andvocation guidance, universities should put more emphasis on the education of the ideasabout employment to help students find a suitable job. Overall, establishing a scientificemployment conception is the key.The career anchor theory presented by well-known U.S. career guidance expertProfessor Edgar H Schein provides a theoretical guidance for career orientation andselection for college students. With career anchor theory as research perspective andtheoretical support and with the college students as research subject, through empiricalanalysis, this essay tries to apply the career anchor theory to employment conception ofcollege students.In this paper, the research mode adopts the method of combine work on key pointswith work in other areas, the Analysis of the basic status of contemporary Graduate’sEmployment conception is a universal discussion on the "surface"; on this basis weconducted a Employment conception survey among University Graduates in Chongqingby questionnaires. The test of career anchor to the college students belongs to a specificanalysis with specific "point".Studies have shown that college students’ career orientation is fuzzy and theircareer selection is unstable, which calls for career anchor guidance urgently. Careeranchor theory plays an active role in helping students to establish a scientific careeroutlook. In this paper, with career anchor theory, the identification of career anchorsamong College Students was proposed and the career anchor evaluation method wasused to determine type of career anchor to establish Employment conception, whichadapts to the society.
