In our country’s basic education course reform of carrying out the background, the politics of the course teaching methods occurred a great change. In this trend, many outstanding contributions have been achieved. On the one hand, efforts have been made to broaden the scope of training given to middle school students so that they will be better adapted to serve society in various capacities after they graduate. On the other hand, most advanced teaching methods were applied to the teaching process. Educators begin to realize the importance of changing spoon-fed teaching into students-oriented teaching, especially emotional teaching. As we all know:Interests and passion play a major role in learning procedure. However, there still exist quantities of challenges. Thus came this paper, and it is divided into three major parts.1. The concept and essential characteristics of emotional politics teaching under the Curriculum Reform.This section mainly focuses on the functional meaning of emotional teaching and gives a brief summary of its practical usages during the learner-centered process.2. The current situate ion of the application of emotional teaching.This section is based on a survey on the practicing of emotional teaching in middle school politics classes. And find out further solutions:including introduce interesting topics, stimulate discussion, excite imaginative responses etc.3. Analysis of several main reasons why there still exist obstacles in carrying out emotional teaching method.Last but not the least, even though most educators realize the importance of putting optimistic emotion into their classes, they are required to get more involved in teaching no matter for study purpose or just for pleasure. Only in this way, can curriculum reform make senses.
