The theory teaching method is an important method of college students’ ideological and political education. It has an unshakable status in the guidance of understanding and agreeing with the dominant ideas and the core values of socialism for college students. And it helps college students to correct its ideological understanding and build up a scientific world outlook, the outlook on life and the values. But, along with the changes of times, the change of social environment and co has a profound effect on the use of college students’ideological and political education method. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze deeply on this education method, and reveal the reason of the obstacles or the cause of the obstacles of the effective use of theory education method. For the realization of the effective use of the college students’ ideological and political theory teaching method strategies and the striving to promote college students’ideological and political theory teaching method progress and development, this paper elaborates the theory education method from three aspects on the basis of existing research results.The first part sketches out the effective use of college students’ideological and political theory teaching method. This part overviews the connotation, the characteristic and the function of college students’ideological and political theory teaching method. And it illustrates the connotation, the key elements, and the evaluation of the effective use of this method. This part is the theoretical basis of the full text.The second part analyzes the status quo of the effective use of college students’ ideological and political theory teaching method. On the basis of questionnaires and collection of documents and materials, this part analyzes the sound momentum,the author concludes the status and role of the theory teaching method has continuously improved in college students’ideological and political education, its teaching methods has get modernized and the way of college students’ideological and political theory education are making innovations. But, there are also some problems. For example, the traditional indoctrination theory education is too rigid monotonous, its effective use ways adapt to the needs of the new era are lack of innovation, the application of method of theoretical education is lack of dynamic combination. The evaluation system about college students theory education is lack. All these problems can be contributed to the following aspects, the concepts with which part teachers use the ideological and political teaching method lags, some teachers have poor quality and ability to integrate to use the theory teaching method, the matching degree about development and application of the method of theoretical education is not high, the mechanism on realization of college students’ideological and political theoretical education method effective applying is not perfect. This part is the key point of the full text.The last part is a focal and objective part of this paper, aiming at exploring the strategies. Based on the issues and reasons proposed, the author develops the paper from proposing some strategies to solve the issues which existed in the process of effective use of college students’ideological and political theory education method, the author put forward the following methods, the new idea on college students’ideological and political theory education should be established, the effective ways of college students’ ideological and political theory education method should be explored. The skill and ability teachers use the theory education method should be promoted.Long-acting mechanism on the effective use of college students’ideological and political theory teaching method, and so on.
