The teacher-student relationship affects the quality of school education to some extent. In ethnic minority areas, the conflicts between Dai " monk students " and teachers are very sharp. It is a common phenomenon that local teachers have poorly evaluated the "monk students", furthermore a large part of teachers attribute the responsibility to the religion factors and think the reason for the conflicts between them is the identity of the " monk students " and "monk". It is worth mentioning that because of the easy-going of the Theravada Buddhism the conflicts are mostly recessive without the direct speech and behavior conflicts, but the attitudes and emotional confrontation are showing the disharmonious atmosphere, mainly in the beliefs and values. The dominant conflicts are the external form of the recessive conflicts, and the recessive conflicts will evolve into the dominant conflict when accumulate to a certain extent. The number of the "Monk student" occupies a large proportion in the local school. Taking S middle school for example, the proportion is14.79%, and if take the former "Monk student" into consideration, the proportion will come to1/4and it is larger than other nations. From this meaning, this problem will affect other students’ learning quality if it can’t be well solved. The reasons are diverse:The masquerade of the local temple education results into disaggressive learning attitudes of "Monk student"; The declination of the temple education results into the undisciplined character of the "monk students"; The rich material life in rice farming culture makes that saying "study is useless" very pop, people’s knowledge and skills are required less by this production, as long as the hard work will have a good harvest, so the Dai people do not pay attention to school education; The ethnic minority culture is ignored in school education; The foreign teachers do not understand the local culture, the identity of the "monk students" and so on. These factors do not exist in isolation, they join together and result in the conflicts. The local government, schools, teachers, parents, and Buddha should reflect deeply, and make positive efforts to change the conflicts between the Dai "Monk student" and teachers. The resolutions are listed as follows, to cultivate multicultural literacy teachers, teachers and students communicating with a inclusive way; to develop a multicultural curriculum based on the ethnic regions in order to the knowledge learned in the course can be used really, and also to meet the diverse needs of students; to change the school evaluation system, promote the overall development of students; to strengthen the contact of the schools, temples and families, and realize the multicultural symbiosis.
