The Function Of Urban Community Social Workstation

The community social workstation is a professional community organization which devotesto satisfying the community resident needs and promoting the community development. Itfunctions effectively with community professional service through professional communityworkers’ effort and realizes the effectiveness of resource integration in the community.Nowadays it turns into a new service platform for promoting the community development.The thesis takes TEDA as an example under the relative sociology theories with the TEDAresident and social workers enquiry together with professional social work method combinedwith function and advantage of refining social workstation promotion on the communitybuilding to put forward a corresponding policy to improve the function of community socialworkstation working mechanism.The study includes four parts:First part, the literary review of the social workstation and the significance of the research;Second part, the empirical study of the social workstation in TETDA. In this part, six partsof the empirical study are mainly introduced which are the researching hypothesis, design ofthe questionnaire, sampling, data collecting, interview design and data analysis.Third part, the results of the TETDA empirical study. In this part, the disadvantage andproblems of TETDA social workstation are summarized by referring to the data of thequestionnaire analyzed through SPSS and case interviews.Forth part，the influencing factor to the development of social workstation. The factorsthat affect the development of social workstation are discussed from the points of policy,environments, resources integrating and social capital.Fifth part, the constructing mechanism of the social workstation in the mainland China.The advance of developing local social workstation constructing mechanism is raised fromthe aspects of policy, society, main body of social work station and education.
