The Use Of Social Work Methods In Improving The Parent-child Relationship Of The Migrant Children

Parent-child relationship for each individual life into the formation of the initialinterpersonal relationships is also the most important relationship in the family,parent-child relationship is good or bad to have a decisive impact on the developmentof the child’s cognitive, emotional and behavioral.With China’s social transformation and the rapid development of urbanization,urban and rural residents and the way of life is changed. Farmers migrant in the city tomake a living and living for a long time, so that the children of migrant workers hasbecome increasingly prominent. Migrant children this process of social change isaccompanied by parents, migrant workers, arising from a special group. In recentyears, due to the surge in the number of migrant children, they involve manyproblems began to receive widespread concern in society. The problem of migrantchildren are more concentrated in its reasons, the macro level of performance,consequences, and countermeasures from the perspective of the social workprofession through the design of specific intervention programs to the implementationof the intervention and change of practice is relatively small. This paper focuses onthe physical and mental growth of the migrant children is a very important issue-theissue of parent-child relationship, based on the perspective of social work theory andgroup social methods of work, the performance and specificity of the parent-childrelationship problems were analyzed. This paper of practice case is through the plantin L elementary school choice3to5grade of the children and their parents toparticipate in activities, the whole process of the formation and the record. Based onthe school and their parents and from professional evaluation, this paper argues that,social work method can effective intervention in the floating children between parentsproblems, and make happens continuously improved. This article also puts forwardsome suggestions in order to better promote the flow of children’s healthydevelopment and welfare protection.
