In recent years, China’s higher vocational education has been increasing concern and attention from the community. With the faster development of higher vocational education, the assessment of the training of higher vocational institutions also attracts more and more attentions from the relevant departments of education and the scholars. So, in2003, the assessment projects of the training of National Vocational Institutions have been started, and in2004, under the leadership of education authorities, each province (autonomous region) has started to work. In2006, the issue of "further promoting the training of higher vocational institutions to assessment of a number of opinion"([2006]16), provides a more systematic theory basis for the assessment of the training of National Vocational Institutions. National Higher Education Evaluation Research Group in the first round of the2006trial assessment program on the basis of a careful summary, issued the document in2008"on the issuance of the training of National Vocational Institutions evaluation program."([2008]5). The new program points a new direction for the evaluation of the training of National Vocational Institutions. In order to better implement the document of teach high [2006]16and teach high [2008]5, and according to the actual situation of the development of higher vocational education, Liaoning Province seriously carry out the job that the evaluation of the training of National Vocational Institutions. The assessment insist that "the assessment to promote the construction, the assessment to promote the change, the assessment to promote the tube, combine construction and evaluation, focusing the construction", and the combination of school-self assessment and expert assessment, the combination of static and dynamic, with emphasis on the comprehensive understanding of combined, the combination of assessment and principles of guidance. In2003-2010, the Higher Education Evaluation Group evaluated35higher vocational colleges in Liaoning. Assessment has played an important and positive role in the promotion of content construction of vocational schools, the improvement of the quality of personnel training, and the development of the college. It also trained a large number of highly skilled talents for economic construction and social development in Liaoning. The assessment has made some achievements, but there are many problems. In this paper, literature research, interview research, case studies and other methods will be used to analyze the reality of assessment of the training of National Vocational Institutions in our province, and summed up the main achievements and basic experience for the job.(Liaohe Petroleum Vocational and Technical college, for example), it analyzes the positive effects which includes the development of guidelines to special construction, to increase the construction of internal and external training practice place, strengthen the "Double" quality of the faculty building, comprehensively push forward the quality education of students and to enhance the campus environment of schools. At last, concluded the problems of the work of assessment and propose recommendations to improve the assessment, so that make a better development for training of higher vocational institutions in our province, so as to promote the work of vocational assessment to rise to a new level.
